What is BYOD?
BYOD is an acronym standing for bring your own device. At Silkwood, students are required to bring their own laptops to school from year 6-12. Our program teaches students to become responsible digital citizens and teaches them valuable technology skills for their future careers.
Online Course Material
Access to all our online course material via Ignite. Students can complete their work anywhere, even if they are away.
CyberHound Internet Filtering
Silkwood has a filtering system that aims to block all the "naughties" on the internet whilst student are at school.
Office 365
Students get their own Office 365 accounts including the favourites like Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneDrive, OneNote and more.
Adobe Creative Cloud
Students have access to Adobe Creative Cloud Suite to assist with all their creative design aspirations.
